Turn my non-profit into a business.
Hello World,I have a non-profit organization,and I want to turn it into a business.I need some advice on how to do this.I help underprivileged girls get into college,by playing basketball.I would like to get started with boys this summer.Do I need to go back to school to get some kind of degree .Can someone give me some advice.

No. You do not need to go back to school. You would go to city hall in your city and fill out application for opening business and also get a tax identification number. You biggest help would be find a grant writer for your non profit. Also have a foundation of what is nonprofit is about and what is the mission statement.

Hey Mark, I actually do that for sports businesses specially soccer but I coach basketball also. I have spent most of my coaching life helping kids get an education through sports. Let me know if you ever want to talk..
