What duties would I need to complete as a Heavy Equipment Operator?

It depends om what trade your in and if do dirt work or concrete etc.
For excavating it would be digging ditches, grading doing padux, underground utilities, cleaning ponds, leech fields, it depends,
Depends on the type of heavy equipment, the job you're doing and the company you work for. Some companies only want you to stay in the seat doing your job and others want you to get out and help other crew members when you're not operating. Get clear guidelines before you accept the job and then get clarity again at the job site.
