NEED HELP PLEASE

I goto a company job fair, realize most of the jobs are not in my field of study but there were a couple office jobs(purchasing agent, project coordinator) so I stayed and applyed, was given an interview went super smooth, she said I had the exact experience and college degrees needed for the job, was dressed to the teeth, sent a thank you letter to company, then finally a month later I get a voicemail from the company saying we would like to hire you for assembly line or something and I was very confused because I did not apply for a job you could get without attending highschool let alone college, so I called back left hiring manager a message stating that Im not sure if I heard her right but I thought you said assembly line? I have two college degrees 7 years management experience, I did not apply for the assembly line. So sure enough I get another voicemail from same hiring manager, saying basically the same thing as the first voicemail completely ignoring the long message I left? Is this lady playing games with me intentionally ignoring my voicemail or could this job be for the position I applyed?? any help is very appriciated thank you!

Don't get caught up in job titles. See what the money is there are people that go to work even day dressed like a million bucks and make 10.00 a hour but they look important and then there's the person who goes to work in jeans and his house is nicer than your he's car is nicer than yours. Don't worry what it may look like worrying about doing why you have todo until it gets better.

I had something very similar happen, the hiring agent called and said how good my resume was and all the ego stroking bullshit that goes with it. Mind you have have 4 degrees and about 30k in certifications, and they offer me a job with a title I had never heard of. The job was basically a labor.

I got a little sharp with the recruiter and ask if that was all he truly got from resume.

These people are not worth your time!!!!

I would call their HR department and explain the situation, it can't hurt. Tell them you would like clarification.

what's the matter? assembly line, means that you work with robots, or with plastic gloves, or with..an experience of management and production, but not the one within the company that requires your skill, but as well some days of training / fields research - if ever you want to be the leader of a chocolate candy company and they have currenct problems and don't know how to face them.., then you might as well find out what / where the source of the problem is..by getting involved with people working right there...where you don't want to work, send a friend, or a girl-friend, and install CCTV as such..

Sounds like they filled the position u applied for but have a diff position open and were offering it to u. I understand what u are saying but they prob thought it was a job and maybe u would take it. Maybe that is way to get foot in door to lead to job u want. However if u don't need to work right away i would keep looking u are obviously to qualified for the position they offered. I have taken jobs that ibwas way over qualified for to get my foot in door and it's went both ways for me. I have gotten the management position i wanted by started out low. and I haven't at another job. So left tgat one.

I would call her back & confirm which position she is calling you about. Let her tell you first before you tell her someone called you about an assy position & you need to grt a definite answer. Actually talk to her-voice message won't work -& if after confirming with her, she sounds confused, then I would have reservations about her not knowing what she's doing. Also dbl ck on the pay rate -the assy 1 may be much less $ per hr.. Project coordinator will pay more-much more demanding & involved position

That person that is calling you is a typical HR type that Companies are hiring today because she has two college degrees and no moxie.
