Part Time Administrative Assistant, Bookkeeper

I am looking for a part time job as an Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper in Fairfax, VA. I have 36 years of Federal Government experience and about six years experience working in the private sector. I am retired from the Government and went to work part time to keep up with my skills and learn new business areas. The private sector jobs I have had ended when budgets were cut or the owner had to close up because they had to move out of the country. I am actively looking now. I have had a few interviews, but have not heard anything back from two that I was really interested in. I will continue searching for the right job for me and hope to find the one that meets my goals for working in the private sector. I welcome any tips or advice. I'm seeking an Admin job with bookkeeping or just one or the other if the job is right for me. I also know QuickBooks and Microsoft Office as well as other software companies may use. Thanks much! Hi Elizabeth: Thanks for posting to Jobcase - Happy New Year! Have you thought about going into business yourself as a bookkeeper? It's definitely one of those jobs you can do from home - so no overhead involved!
