The US Department of Labor in collaboration with city and state local career resource centers has several career training, apprenticeships, and classroom to job initiatives designed to help get workers with your concerns back into the workforce. From what I know nothing working with kids. Culinary? Asking the admissions person you might not receive truth so I would see what field I want to go into then research the criminal history I can't have.
