I quit my job

Hi my name is James. I worked for a company for 4 years and was doing a good job regardless of how things went. I wanted to become an assistant manager so I asked but they said no I wasnt qualified for it, after that they just kept me in the dark for the job. I know I needed more experience, but isn't it a manager's job supposed to teach you the ropes of the ASM. Anyways, I've seen new people come in for 2-4 months of working and automatically there a manager with no experience just favoritism. I opened/set up other stores I was the only one who was doing that. So that's my story. PS: sorry for the explaination I don't know how to write things correctly.

Allot of companies won't always move people up if they are too good at what they are doing, then they won't have to replace you.

I hope you can take this issue and possibly get more training in a locally funded employment upgrade program. If you lose your job due to lack of skills? Then you can actually apply for training while you are still receiving benefits.

Go get more experience by attending college courses. This way once you get your degree or experience you can throw it in their face and probably quit your job due to you having a new job lined up. Haha, you get the last laugh!

Well I can honestly say I hope you at least had another job lined up. I mean that is what I would do. I mean give a two weeks notice. That's always the best way to do things. Then you leave on good terms. Just the way I was taught to do things. I do get are saying though. Good luck in everything.
