Help?
Been having trouble I applied for dollar general and both managers at the store 8899 both said I’m hired but has been three weeks almost and I still haven’t got my email that I need to start work? Any ideas
Nobody should apply. It seems like it's happen to a alot of people. It happened to me. Please don't waste your time
I would go talk to them face to face level headed. If there is no result then g o back to job hunting.
It takes a while I was told I checked in for two weeks then found another job. They finally got me in and I had a job so I was going to do weekends but realized it would be too much for me so I told her I could not do it. Then the other job was aweful so I called to see if they were still interested I had to call them to find out that they claimed I burnt the manager and would do it again even though I was not even hired in yet. Yu want my opinion Yu don't want to work for them kinda ppl. Their time is valuable but yours is expendable.
Good Morning Eljay, Please don't play the waiting game , just remember waiting for the" What if" is money that you could be making somewhere else. I have heard so many comments about this company, look try searching opportunity like Home Depot, Lowe's, Wal-Mart's,. Targets, Don't ever give up,! your better than that!!!! I know it's hard you have bills too pay etc . But if you make 2 contacts of any business in your home town a day drop off your resume, or go on this web SITE they have leads in your home town. I promise something good will come from this. Good luck Now go get your job , stay positive!!!

I have 19 years in retail and had applied for a job at the two stores in my location. First I tried to get in contact with the regional manager no luck there. Called the Home Offices in Tenn the district manager was on vacation so i got a call from a supervising Vice President told me to fill out the app on line which I did so far no call from the district manager for either store.
