Leaving group
Hi folks. You are great. To those who have gotten a job, congrats! To those who are struggling, I get it as I am in the same place. I am leaving this group as I am in the awkward position of not being able to open any mail or job descriptions I asked someone who is a computer expert (unlike me - I am average) and we can't open a thing. Just know my thoughts are with all of you. This is a great group Best, Karen
I agree with you. Is this a place to find a job or vent out our problems of not finding a job?
sorry to hear that you are leaving the group, I never get helped but I dont wants to give up I have a college degree I still work as a Cna and I always pray to get a decent job I am earning 12 per hour working 32 living pay check to pay check and I barely can afford anything Life is not fair I went to school hoping My life will change but not I have 2 kids to feed I believed in God and Luck and none of that on my side

I’m in be same boat. I’m stuck at a dead end job with a college degree. I have an associates in criminal justice but I get laughed at when I tell employers where my degree is from.
I hope you decide not to leave the group permanently. It's a comfort and everyone is so understanding and helpful.
I, myself, have been looking for a position for almost 2 years now. I never expected this - I have a J.D. from Yale Law School, a B.A. from Yale, have published a book, started the film school at Arizona State Univ., founded the West Coast campus of Quinnipiac University, am an award-winning teacher, have produced small feature films, etc and STILL can't find anything in LA. Very, very frustrating. Karen, don't give up!

Being average for all is fine ,you can be above average or higher in certain areas most people are educable,trainable or both,it is a matter of a short period,never be disappointed tanacity is the key to success.
Surprise that you are leaving ; good luck in your job search . Why don't you seek out a computer trouble-shooter .
If you clear you history files and cookies that should help and update your false player along with adobe. That should help your computer and what not depending on how old the computer is.
