Why is so difficult to get a job if I'm a very hard worker, only because my job references are in Cuba?
This is almost incredible for me; Even waiting for a job in the USA; With so much to do and so much energy of the good accumulated in me, because I thought that it should not be so difficult to get a job and be useful again to my family and society and recover something of the many years of life and happiness that I was taken away in Cuba, despite so much effort and personal improvement developed by me. In spite of this, I am not paralyzed; I still learn things, now in this place so beautiful, at least I feel free and with new hopes ...
Hello Reynaldo, I'm sorry to hear you've been having trouble with your job search. Have you followed up on any of the applications you've submitted? Sometimes calling the companies you applied at to check on the status of your application.
I am in the UK and cannot find a job either..my references are all in the US, I agree it is very discouraging.. I feel a lot is to do with my age....minimum wages is less here if you are under 25. I have so much experience but no one has even called me back, just No Thank You e mails. I guess we most both keep trying, I hooe we both have some success soon!!
