Homeless and need to help paying for a place to stay so me and my husband can get our kids back
Ok so june 5th we moved to Alvin for my husband's job at Turner jus for them to lay him off on the 7th. We literally lost our house our car and had nowhr to go. We had to move back to houston and now are motel bound till Saturday at 11 whn it check out time we have been looking for work but have no way of stay here any longer. But if there is any job out there tht is hiring on spot plz let me knw I would love to get my kids back and a family home for my family

Hi Candice, you mentioned that your husband was laid off, is there anyway he can collect unemployment? Both of you should look into their website. I know I was looking for a job, this was a while back, and they had a website. They have all kinds of information there. They also training benefits. Meanwhile, if you can get one of you family member to help out, even if you sleep in the living room. I know that feeling, be there done that. We did get help from his side of the family. Don't give up hope,, you will find something. Meanwhile go to the library and start looking into the information that unemployment has in your state. Keep us posted on how you're doing.
My empathy is with you .that being said there should be a salvation army around you and they can help with shelter and possibly a job.will be praying for you and your family
