I applied online and called the store to speak with a manager about my application. He was busy but asked me to call him the next day in the morning. He looked up my application and asked me what job I was interested in then he asked me a few basic questions on weekdays and hours I could work. It was a quick call but I was able to set up with an interview. I think it's better to apply online first.
