Hi my answer is there's a high demand for both alot of it depends on the state you choose to seek jobs in or region or country. And most schools offer job placement assistance after you've graduated. And even offer ways or resources for loans, grants to start your own shop business and guidance. Man your a genius I had completely for about those services my school renders to there grads. Career services thank you man. Oh by the way even as the safety and integrity of cars increase And technology of cars as well there's always gonna be a need for a auto technician a auto mechanic there's parts that need to be lubed periodically cabin air filters oil filters loose ground wire and there's a ding dent car getting keyed or accident occurring everyday day or a client seeking a custom paint on his ride or something airbrushed on it or those restorations bringing a piece of car history back from the dead with upgrade technology though. Wish you the best in your studies friend working on cars or body work isn't just a job its takes passion a drive you gotta love what you do for a living or youll just be miserable working somewhere to just make ends meet. Some do what they have to support there family and as long as there feed got a roof bed and can get them things they want or be able save to get them that I see that as happiness and something may still come there way too new job opportunity. Something Stay cool man but honestly that's a decision you gotta think thru and make do your research on each of them in city your thinking of working in and look at the population of that city how many people own a car and sad but true if your doing auto body repair how many car wrecks or the statistics on it some may think that's crooked but reality it's not your not making those wrecks occur or wishing for them or for someone wrecks and gets hurt. It's just thinking ahead assessing everything that's at hand to see if the potential or non potential of that field of interest in that particular region or town. Just like the district managers do in the bigger corporations they go around store to store in there region make sure things are operating smoothly or check the sales for that quarter maybe to see what they actually are selling or items that are just collecting dust very good manager of mine said that once it's very true too. Both careers are promising growth but it depends on where your work preference is. You can still train enough in school or on the job to be knowledgeable in one area and specialize in the other.
