Yes I Got It!
After countless long hours, working six days a week and hard work I got a promotion at my job. I am so grateful for such an opportunity, but when I got home I received a letter from a university I applied to and I got in! One problem, based on the new position, my work schedule is from 9 to 6pm. How can I juggle both?

Your first question is whether or not your university education is your primary goal. If it is, the job comes second and the job can even be left behind to pursue the education. It depends a lot on what your career goals are. You may be able to do both part time, or you may be able to defer acceptance to the university for a semester or a year. Find out with th admissions department if that is possible, and if you do defer, verify that it means that you can simply register without any hassles next semester or next year. In the meantime you can save money at your job then quit it or go down to way part time to put university education first (depending on how important it is to you.)
For example, if you were planning on school to study to become a nurse, or doctor, remaining at a retail or reception job and putting that job first would set you back in your goals.School in that scenario would come far and away first. However if your current job pays ok, and it is in the field you want, and your goals for your education are more general, such as getting a degree so you can get promotions in the field you are already in, then ditching the job for school would not be as much of a no-brainer. Also, if you don't have sufficient funding for school to pay your bills, obviously employment is going to remain crucial.

Congrats.......... All long as you have the will there is a way! Just an example, but I took online courses as well as attended actual class. Can't say for the school that your considering, but it doesn't hurt to ask. Wish you well!!!!!!

night classes Evelyn dear or on line course

Congratluations, Evelyn! By all means, DO BOTH! I graduated high school in 1958; began my college journey in 2009 (I'll let you do the math); Earned my Bachelor's Degree and graduated in October 2015! I took all my courses online. Each course ran for 5 weeks and I admit, sometimes it was quite intense -- cramming a semester of work into 5 weeks. However, I was working throughout this time and managed to have all of my assignments in on time, and some of them even a little early. Additionally, I also managed to balance the responsibilities of multiple offices that I hold, and have held, in three different levels of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary -- Local, District, and State.
I did not know until I received my transcript AFTER I had earned my degree that I had actually graduated Magnum Cum Laude! So you see, it really CAN be done! Due to mortgage obligations on my home, at an age when I SHOULD be retiring and slowing down some, I am still working full time! My very best Good Luck wishes to you in all of your endeavors, but urge you to GO FOR IT!

I would try online classes. Some majors and university's can do that for you.

Congratulations! :)

U can't work for two God's, so maybe see which one is most important and go for tht

Speak to your Counselor at University and explain your great news.! Because it cannot be approached as a dilemma because it's great news, and he/he will see that. Ask them if there are evening/weekend classes or the online option. He/she will appreciate your enthusiasm and will give you the best options. Good luck and congratulations:)

I'm happy that you got the promotion and glad that you were accepted into a university, so do both. Best wishes.
it might be the season for you to just stack your money and work or pressue online endeavors
