Interview Ready or is Interview worth it?
I received an email from a marketing sales company that is almost brand new, just opening in September. I was super stoked for it because it is an awesome job opportunity to receive personal and professional experience in marketing, advertising, business, etc. I had like 4 days to get ready for the interview out of the blue and a printed resume was required for the interview. I had already scheduled last day that was possible, and i still hadn't had a great time to put one together. The company didn't even require experience, only a dedication in the field to be trained which I have. I don't want to go through the trouble, and then just be overlooked anyways, because I have little idea of what they are looking for plus how many people are applying. Any help?

: ). Maybe u can review samples of their work?

Can u Google the company even though fairly new?

Hi Gillian! Even if you don't get picked for this position, going on an interview is a great experience to get practice in. Whenever you get a chance to test your interviewing skills, I would encourage you to take it! Being prepared and polished are both very important, but there's an element that's difficult to quantify called confidence! You definitely build up confidence with every interview you go on, whether you're chosen or not. Focus on doing your best and count this interview as a learning experience. If they do end up choosing you, how great would that be! You'll never get the opportunity to find out if you don't go. Whatever you choose to do, I wish you all the best!
