Try tutoring at your local college if your comfortable. You could even offer tutoring at your highschool as well. Look into community progroms and organizations like the YMCA, boys and girls club if your interested in kids. On the other side look into the big box retail companies in your area for their warehouses. Also look in your area for the warehouses of online retailers as well. They all will be hiring with the Holiday season coming. Check amazon see if they have a warehouse in your area. They do 4hr. shifts like UPS and pay over $10 to start for most. With the holidays a lot of places will be hiring and look for younger people like cell phone retail stores, tech support as well at alot of retailers and also working from home. So good luck. Hi ShaQuan! I don't know if you are taking full or part time courses, but if you're carrying a full course load.. Part time employment would be my advice. Just coming out of high school, you don't want to much on your plate right now, because you'll burn out fast and grades will certainly suffer. My suggestion is to find a job on campus. It's much easier and perhaps the admissions office can even help you with finding something like.. Working in the dining hall or in one of the dorms as a floor manager. Good luck to you!!
