The best reason to work at Walmart is helping the customers! I really enjoy seeing the regulars come into the store and greeting them with a smile. I used to be a little shy before this job so it's helped me open up a lot. Sometimes we are understaffed so I work extra hours for the store when they need me. I am hoping they move me up to management soon. I like working at Walmart. Lots of my family and friends shop at my store.
It is really great when you are greeted with a smile, or even just a hello. It is also nice to be asked if you need assistance. I am sure that your patrons really appreciate you. Good luck in your future endeavors at WalMart.

Good for you man. It's important to like your job. Working in customer service sort of forces you to be social so that's good it helped.
Be persistant do what you are doing now and ask the hr staff also ask your supervisor for more responsible duties at work.
