Hi Dorine! I know it's incredibly discouraging, but please don't give up! There are a few things you can do to help keep yourself safe during your job search:
- You can search online and find opportunities near you, then instead of applying online you could go in in person and see if you can apply at the location instead of online
- You can bookmark and study the list of the top ten signs of a job scam: https://www.thebalance.com/top-job-scam-warning-signs-2062181
- You can forward anything suspicious to me at askemily@jobcase.com so that I can help you figure out if it's legit or not!
- You can make sure you keep your focus on well-known companies and on-location jobs instead of working from home.
Please let me know if you have any specific questions, I am happy to help!

I have been involved in several of them, some of these jobs sites use these jobs as bait to get you to sign up in am a little irritated because it's like it seems like they don't submit half of your resumes?only selected ones, usually there restaurant jobs and how r some of these places tell you that you're not qualified when you have tons of experience in the jobs you apply for like recently I put resumes in assisted living places iam qualified but not a 1 called me I just believe they r a scam and they choose the most low paying jobs with no future and that's mainly restaurants they get commission off people signing up
