None at None

WHY??!!!

I'm a 19 year old who only has a year of college due to the school closing, and I tried to get a job for the past five months. I only had four interview's out of dozens of applications sent out and still no bite, and many of the jobs seem to be far from my area of living. As of right now I'm going for GameStop since I'm close to what their looking for in a employee, but I feel like evey time mine pop's up they throw it away for being untrained and inexperienced teen. Why can't I get hired??!!

why not try fast food or waitressing? those jobs tend to be pretty easy to get with no experience.

Take some classes at the locale adult school and upgrade your skills

  1. Try working for oncall inventory service like RGIS.
  2. Put in applications for hotels. They have a variety of jobs. One of my friends started off bussing tables and ending working banquets.
  3. Check our catering companies.
  4. Look at receptionist jobs.
  5. Grocery stores
  6. Airport jobs
  7. Pizza places
  8. FedEx
  9. Go to school at the local JR College and try to get a job on campus
  10. Work at a dog kennel or as a dog walker.

Get back in school-or learn a trade. Nineteen will fade and you will be old with no job and homeless---trust me -I've been there

THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX. Apply to hospitals for foot in door job. Cafeteria, hospital cleaning job, patient transport, patient sitter, hospital courier. Work 90 days or so & then apply within for job ur interested in. Consider going to ur local tech school & train in CNA, PHLEBOTOMY, SECURITY GUARD. Go online & learn medical terminology. Have car? Deliver newspapers, pizza or apply for courier jobs.

Apply elsewhere. I worked Warehouse and loading dock jobs when I was 19. Those are temporary jobs til you finish your schooling. Those types of jobs are willing to train you and they do in fact offer growth. If you want, apply for FedEx or UPS. However, these companies will work your body to it's limit. Good luck
