What is the one thing that you keep at your desk that always makes your day a little brighter when you see it?
I'm quite new to the work plant scene, but this little succulent has been a welcome addition to my desk!
i have a wooden picture frame with the words "carpe that diem" inside. SEIZE THE DAY!.
I have SO MANY! I keep all my gifts from friends and co workers - I like to make my desk feel like home with as many decorations as possible!
A little catch plate I bought in Spain. Always makes me think about why I work, so I can travel!

Button that says No Small Plans (from supporting http://www.architecture.org/learn/resources/no-small-plans/). Along with the obvious think-big meaning, it reminds me to look for solutions that work for as big a group of people as possible, since the slogan is about city planning.
I like to visit different art galleries and go to different concerts, so whenever I get a card or sticker from one of these events, I pin it to the bulletin board in my office!
I've got a growing army of little Shakespeare figures all over my desk, some old, some new, some gifts, some from far off lands. They are my reminder to "decorate your life" and not hide the things you love even when they do make you feel different from what's all around you.
