Do you need a cover sheet
I applied for a hospital . And I sent my resume. The deadline for applications is for the 19th but I'm feeling like I'm second guessing myself. I didn't send a cover letter or my references should I resubmit my application process again???

I would add a cover letter, if they ask for one. If not, then don't worry about it. Some companies continue to ask for them, while others have stopped the process. Good luck!

Ack! A cover letter is always needed. It doesn't have to be long and drawn-out, just short and to the point. You saw the position advertised, and you're sending in your resume. While the resume will go into detail about my job history here are a few relevant points of experience. Bip. Bop. Boop. Here's how to reach me and I look forward to speaking with you soon. I agree with Jim and Mark. A cover letter is almost always a good idea.
Before you include a cover letter, make sure you review the job description and the job posting. Sometimes (rarely) they say to not include a cover letter. In those cases, leave it out. But if they don't say to submit or send a cover letter, send one. It demonstrates due diligence and follow through.
Do not have your resume repeat the information in your cover letter. Do not have your cover letter repeat the information in your resume. These are two separate documents which form a picture of you, your personality, and what you want out of life and career. Use the cover letter to explain why you believe you are the best fit for the job. Let the resume provide examples (kind of like a data-sheet).
I would go back into the online application and attach a cover letter. In healthcare, it's ALWAYS a good idea to include a cover letter. It's a very personal industry.
