Kind of a rant

Ok here I am..50 yrs old and out of a job 6 months. I have 30+ yrs customer service experience. From agent to assoc. Ops manager. I have to say I am done with customer service. I'm over being screamed at by people who yes I know, they are upset at the situation, not me. However, it gets old. That coupled with customer surveys that become how you are as an agent, and well I'm done. I'm not a number. Fast forward to now. I all but have a job driving taxi however, because I didn't pee enough (by 1/16th of an inch) and could not hang around to re-test until I could pee again, its considered a refusal to test per DOT And the company won't hire me. However, the company was willing to let me get a DOT drug test elsewhere at my expense. No worries there. I don't feel I should have to run around and thru hoops like this when they had the specimen to begin with.

Now I find out that the result of "refused to test" will now be on my "DOT record." What the Hell?? Frustrated beyond all belief and am at the end of MY sanity! So a bit of advice.. Should you find yourself drug testing for DOT... make sure you can pee like a racehorse! And have some to spare! Ok rant over.. Now I'm looking for work. No warehouse, customer service please. Oh and in Reno are a. Thanks! And thanks for listening!

Hi Dawn! That's so awful that they considered it a refusal to test! I'm so sorry that happened to you. Follow these simple steps to find a job opportunity here on Jobcase!

1. Click on Jobs & Companies at the top of the page, or head over here

2. Enter a job into the search field where it says Job Title, Keywords, or Company.

3. Add in your location by filling in your City and State OR zip code. Then click the magnifying glass to search.

4. Once the list is up, click on “View Job" of any you are interested in and then apply.

Let me know if there's anything else I can help you with - you got this, Dawn!
