I have been working at this job for 6 months and I love it! But there’s one problem, there this coworker of mine who will turn a sunny day to a storm. She has been there for years and complains about everything. She is getting on my nerves, what makes it worse, I have been given a project and guess who I have to directly work with!!!! How can I deal with my coworker on this project?

Treat her with love and kindness and let the love of God come out and it will overcome the evilness in her. And just do your part as well.

Try to get her to agree to a division-of-labor where each of you can go off and do those tasks on your own, with one of you (preferably her) being responsible to pull it all together and present it to the project sponsor. Try, hard though it will be, to keep an open mind - you MIGHT learn something from her.

Just keep this in mind. IT'S JUST A JOB. You're going to see this co-worker of yours for the time you're at work and then you're going home. All of your life, no matter what company you go to work for, there will be co-workers that you may not necessarily like. Just learn to deal with it. Or if it becomes a REAL problem for you then speak to a supervisor.

Try saying something like this: You know what? She will say "What? You say, ". It is so much fun to make guitar noises. She will say " How"? You say jig jig jig jig clang clang clang clang. jig jig jig jig clang clang clang clang

Oh no, that's so frustrating! I definitely understand how a negative coworker (or a negative anyone!) can be draining. Since you have to work on a project with her, make sure that you're as professional as possible. Don't engage with her complaints; when she starts complaining, change the topic back to work. If it gets really bad, consider talking to your manager about what you can do to deal with your coworker. Chances are your manager probably feels the same way too!
