Goodbye toys r us
As a former employee of toys r us.... It saddens my heart to know this company is closing. My children now grown, grew up running the aisles of toys r us. Goodbye toys r us... Thank you geoffry for the childhood memories
The best toys are there plus it is good place to be.
I grew up LOVING Toys r Us, the best toy store ever. I never worked there, but it is really sad to see them go. Damn internet shopping, more stores will close because of that. I can see that the animated movie wall-e isnt so far fetched, to me its spot on. Malls closing down, the stores we grew up on are closing, its so sad.
Man that really sucks!!! I remember getting my first cabbage patch doll there. Thanks for all the memories.
My preteen grandson and his friend were having a discussion about this on yesterday. I told them they have another store which is supposed to be reopening in the Chicagoland Area. The store is Kay Bee Toys.
as one too it saddens me as well it was a fun company to work for and also saved on money to buy toys and gifts for my 4 children.
There toys where way over priced I should know I did over 200 reset for them they kill there self plus Walmart and Amazon kill them It not good to see people out of work
As an employee it's also hard to watch all these people that work for the company and have been for years scared of what to do and actually be completely in the dark about what's happening

SORRY ! To hear that they are closing all their stores, WOW ! Hard to believe there will no longer be a Toys R Us store EVER ! :( I'm sure we ALL are saddened by this news knowing we ALL grew up around it as did our kids & grandkids. :(
Sorry to learn of the closing of Toys R US. I remember the enjoyable shopping trips there with my daughter shopping for toys. I especially shopping there at Christmas time. The stores will be greatly missed
