I need to refocus my career path
Hi, My name is Laurence. I am a Baker, making decent money. But I am also an artist that paints portraits. I am confused about what I need to do with my life. All I know for sure is that I want my own business but not sure as what. I want control of my life. Any one have any advice

Hi Laurence Mckinzie - there could definitely be some crossover into the artistic side of baking if you want to go that route. Think of your baking creations as your canvas - how could you combine them?
Additionally you could continue working on your portraits while baking to make ends meet until they take off.
In the end, you have to be the one to decide what you want to do. I hope this helps! The community is here to help. Best of luck in your endeavors - owning your own business is a scary but great thing.
