A patient was very upset that the doctor was running so late and though she wasn't angry at me she used me to make her point clear to the doctor. He was at a loss for words except to apologize profusely to the patient and tell me I should of notified him immediately of the patients concern (which I had). Finally the office manager came to my rescue by stating that I had done exactly what I should have and said it in front of all of us, the doctor, the patient and myself. He treated the patient immediately and nothing more was said.
