Shoe Sales at Dillards

Feeing blessed

I lost my job of two years for lack of sales so I started looking for something else, this was 5 months ago. I dropped my resume in indeed and got two job offers within a week of each other and in the same area but after careful thinking I realized by not having a car I'll be working just to pay for lyft and decided that wasn't in my best interest to accept them. I just so happen to go to my old job just to see how everyone was doing and my old manager asked if I wanted to come back and work for her and that they needed me, I quickly said yes, so I filled out an app and started working this week and it's closer to my home. If that isn't a blessing then I don't know what else to call it

yes. I stayed in my integrity and self respect last Sat. and my boss did not. so of course i was let go. since then I've had 3 interviews and 1 more tomorrow, and while I was interviewing today a person from a previous gig was calling me in for a rush call. So I called her and it was filled and she thanked me. Wait for the right call. computer searching is a waste of time. network instead.

Yes! Good one! IDK why employers make it so hard on themselves and on us employees. If the company's going thru hard ties, talk to the employee. Explain to the faithful loyal worker that you really appreciate what they do for the company and that you'd like to keep them...even if it means employee accepting a lower salary to keep things moving along. It'd be a win/win.
