I forgot!

I had a meeting with my superior and I was supposed to give some ideas for where I can lead my team to help meet company goals and I TOTALLY BLANKED. I'm thinking of sending an apology email to my superior and attaching this study (http://www.scientificamerican.com/article/why-walking-through-doorway-makes-you-forget/) -- does that ever happen to you? You walk into another room and completely forget what you were supposed to do? How do you recover? I think I looked like a total doofus!

Well, I’ll be sending that study to my wife… haha more seriously though it’s okay to take a minute to regain your composure when that happens, I think they would rather have you take a minute and get back on track than keep charging along and bumbling

Yes, I’ve TOTALLY blanked in front of somebody in an interview. The last time that happened I went home and made a list of talking points to memorize for if that ever happens again. I haven’t had an interview since but I look forward to seeing if it works!

I had no idea that was an actual proven thing! It’s never happened me to work yet (knock on wood) but it sure happens to me at home. I try to do word puzzles to keep my mind sharp, haha
