Hi my name is Heather and I am currently looking for a job. Things are getting scary and bills are piling up and getting behind, real behind....I have applied at so many different places and even re-did my resume. I have done everything I can think of to find a job. It just seems like no one is calling back for an interview for some reason. It bothers me not getting any responses back except that they going to look over the application and if qualified they will contact me for an interview. I do get a lot of emails for interviews but then when i click on them its nothing for an interview it more like advertisements and never seems to get me to the spot to approve a day and time for the interview, its like a vicious cycle...never ending and frustrating to say the least. I am freaking out with not being able to find a job and bills piling up. Desperation comes to mind when I think about the bills. Any advise on what else I can do to find a job? Anything is greatly appreciated. I try to stay positive and not get discouraged, but honestly I want to just give up and not deal with the job search, but we all know thats not reality in the real world.... I live in the Ennis Texas area and am willing to drive to the DFW area if the pay is worth the drive. Please Help!!!......
Hi Heather Dusenbery - that sounds incredibly stressful. I'm sorry you had to undergo this. It will get better. It sounds like you've already taken some good steps - redoing your resume, opening up your search to another area - these are all great things that can open up the job market for you.
What kinds of jobs are you looking to apply too? It's hard to know what to help you look for if we don't know your background and experience.
