Omg....Not yet!!
I bought a condo that wasn't supposed to go through for another 5 months or so, but when I got home,there it was, my background came back clean,and the condo is mine as of tomorrow! I just started my job,like what,about a month ago give or take,so I have to put in my 2 weeks in at work! I was gonna do it yesterday but I chickened out!! I'm excited,but scared,because I have had 46 years,I grew up here,I've already cried a few times like a big baby.....homesick already! I know I'll find a job in Florida,but my point is,I just started this job that I love,got all situated,learned quite quickly,made a really great friend,and I feel terrible that I'm gonna have to open my mouth and tell my boss! Well,that's the story! Thankyou guys for your comments,it does help,your opinions!! Have Happy Holidays ok!

Not sure what to say except things happen for a reason. Either way you have a decision to make. Good luck either way it will work out for you.
You got this Jennifer. Everything will fall into place. The trick to finding work in Florida is, local government offices. The county, city, they usually have the better pay and are unionized. I lived in Naples Florida for 12 years before we became a military family. I went from the county utilities department, to Animal Services, then the City Police and Fire Department. Keep an open mind. You will just love living in paradise.

Maybe you shouldn't have started a job a month ago if you knew you were moving even if it was in 5 months. Someone else desperately needing a job was passed over so you could work temporarily while waiting.
Congratulations! Just curious, I was born and raised in Middlesex county N.J., then relocated to Tampa Bay area Florida in 1993 and have been here since. Love the weather and all around general atmosphere of Florida! Still have family in N.J. and visit occasionally, but do not miss the weather! What area of Jersey are you coming from and what area of Fla are you settling in? If it's an area I'm familiar with, workwise perhaps I may have a few helpful suggestions for employment.
