I was mixing a color for a customer at the paint desk and forgot to hammer down the lid. I put it in the shaker, turned it on and heard a loud wet crunch and quickly turned it off. The lid was bent and the bottom was covered in paint with a puddle oozing out the bottom of the machine. I was so flustered because it was a $46 can of paint that i just screwed up that i hurried to put the second can in the other shaker and CRUNCH i ended up doing the same friggen thing!! Thankfully the customer was very patient and my co workers turned it into a huge joke saying because i was new that i was "officially initiated" into the paint dept now. My noss wasnt even too upset, she wasnt happy about losing 80 dollars but she shook her head and asked if i had at least learned my lesson and boy did i ever!
