This question really got me thinking...“what’s the most valuable lesson you've learned throughout your work life”? How would you answer?

The most valuable lesson I've learned is to find work that you are passionate about. Seek jobs that you can make a career out of. I got so wrapped up in how much a job pays and ended up spending the last seven years of my life miserable. I made good money but I was not fulfilled.

Your work life should be model from your personal life. If your persona lifel is organized then your work will pattern that ideology. Work ethics are important regardless what your position is with the company.

Schedule Schedule Schedule! Personally, I find it extremely helpful to handwrite a schedule each morning when I sit at my desk of tasks I know I need to work on or complete by the end of the business day. I think visually laying out what I need to complete not only helps me stay organized, but allows me to appropriately prioritize. While I am very pro-schedule, I will add tho, be very OPEN to change within your schedule as things always shift in the workplace. It's important to be both structured with your own tasks as well as flexible to allow for the unexpected changes of the business world!

1. Why do I want this, 2. How do i do this, and 3. Now Just Do It When I have a goal in mind (e.g. "I want to find a place to volunteer"), I go through these steps. 1, 2, 3. Step 1 gets me motivated, Step 2 gives me a clear path forward, and Step 3 is just getting it done!

Get a Life! I realized that I am so much more productive when I have variety in my life. Then when I'm doing work, I am refreshed and ready to give my 100%!

Those are my two most useful tips for work life. Agree or not?
