Payroll/Acccounts Payable, Currently in Food and Hospitality Industry
I am 58 years old and looking for a job that offers benefits. I have applied to numerous job opportunities but I'm thinking because of my age they don't want to hire me. I have over 16 years of accounting/payroll experience, I have over 12 years in the food industry. So, I keep asking myself who would not hire me? When I go on a interview, I always dress up professionally, dress pants, shirt, tie and I see people coming in with jeans, tee shirts, greasy hair and they get hired. Should I change my look or continue to look professional? I don't get it! I'm from the Canton, Oh area. Any employers from that area looking for a nice guy with experience?
