How do I get noticed?
I have been applying and not hearing for a long time. Here is what I have. Bachelor's in Computer Engineering Technology Masters in Systems Engineering/Engineering Management. I graduated 6 years ago. I have been applying for jobs for the last 3 years. No results. I am not sure where I am going wrong I have started a route in security and I obtained CompTIA, Security+ certification. Now, I am working on Associate of CISSP. I am not sure if that will help. I am capable, smart, hard worker, easy to work with. I work great alone or with a team. I am a problem solver whether it is technical or non technical. Have always been told it is a pleasure to work with me. No idea what to do.
Hi Olga: Have you tried following up on all the applications you’ve submitted? Try calling or emailing employers a few days after you’ve applied. It’s a great way to stand out from the online crowd. Also, make sure you apply for jobs through Jobcase with these steps:
- Click on the “Jobs & Companies” text at the top of this page
- Enter the type of job role you're looking for
- Click the blue search button If you see something that looks interesting, just click View Job and follow the instructions to apply. Let us know how it works out for you!
