Sales Associate Their Way Of Saying Cashier at Toys R Us

68

I’m 68, been unemployed since Toys/Babies r Us closed last summer. I also had ankle surgery last August. I’ve was denied twice for unemployment, because of the surgery, and wasn’t cleared to work until December. When I’ve applied for jobs, I was turned away. In the meantime I’m in therapy, for depression. I volunteer at the local humane society. I know I’m being picky at jobs I’m looking for. I need something that’s flexible in the hours. I know after having surgery, and just from aging, I do have limitations. Lack of strength mostly, and standing for long period of time. I also worry getting in the same situation of getting into somewhere, and to lose my job. I’m not comfortable or confident at job interviews. I just want to find a job that I could be happy to get up in the morning to go to. Having someone tell me it’s just a job. Shouldn’t I deserve to be happy with my job? What I’m looking for somewhere I can be around animals. And yes, I’ve tried the local humane society with no luck. Any suggestions.
