Injured on the job.
I was at my job for almost 2 years when I was injured on the job. Working with workers comp has been a nightmare and now the job has let me go. Looking for a new job with a new disability has been one of the most stressful events of my life. I'm still very young and not being able to continue in my career that I was working on is seriously depressing. Now having to find a "desk" job. It's very far from where I want to be.

Hi Rebekah, so sorry to hear about your injury and the resulting disability. It's hard when your career takes an unexpected, and unwanted, turn away from what you're passionate about due to an injury, but you're not alone here on Jobcase. A lot of people here are coping with job loss or career change due to a disability and I'm sure they could help give you some perspective on how to handle this problem. I would recommend following one of our top contributors here, Melissa Dinardi . Melissa created a group here on Jobcase specifically for people with disabilities. I hope this helps you!
