Wow...just wow!!!
I use to work for Kroger for quite a few years, but this man was definitely there much longer than I! He worked at Kroger for 63 years and raised five kids on the money he made. He said it was a great place to work and I definitely agree. It helped me stay afloat while I was in college. Many of my girlfriends didn't work, but I had to. My parents couldn't pay for me to live so I worked! This man definitely deserves a round of applause. I am not sure ANYONE stays at a job this long anymore. https://vimeo.com/207144970

Could somebody tell me how to get the picture in the little round circle. Im new smartphones

You go boy.

Wow what a great work ethic!!! Its sad but theres not too many workers that show this type of determination - god bless him!!!!

Only by the Grace of God

it may be worth mentioning that i stayed at a job for ALMOST a year once...but only that one time...

I think that is so awesome you keep going you amaze me and a man that raises he's kids is a plus keep being strong cause that's some worker and a good worker at that

I'm a former employee of Kroger and believe me my co-workers would disappear and I got yelled at for not trying to figure out where they were I did what I thought was right and that's pick up the slack so at the end of the day I would have chosen somewhere else to work.
Wow! He's seen a lot of changes in the grocery industry over 6 decades of service to Kroger. There's very few people that stay in a job for that length of time in the private sector. Now, if we look at the politicians that's a little bit of a different story. Some of characters have been hanging around for 30+ years and we wonder why nothing gets done in DC. Some people that work for the postal service or other state or federal government jobs seem to hang out till the end too. This man is special for staying with his employer for this length of time.
