Today is our day, but I feel like it should be everyday. My time serving was difficult. I was away from my wife and kids a lot like most of us and lost a lot of my close friends. Was happy to get home safe, but it sometimes feels pretty lonely. It would be nice to connect with a few other vets on here. I hope you are with your families today. If you see a veteran make sure to thank them for their service.
