I did. I worked for garage door company for 21years and in 2003 the owner call me into the office because he wanted to talk to me. While talking he said I have some bad news Paul and I asked what so he said to me he was closing the doors on July 3rd and no knew but me he gave me enough time to find another job. I really like the security work and in 2015 I went to work for a different security company because my friend and my dad passed away. And the company would give me leave. The company I work for now I started as a security guard the 2016 I went to school to become a armed guard have been for 2 years then in November of 2017 the company gave me a road supervisor position. I still work sites but now I go check on employee and report to the area manager when something is going wrong

I worked for a Driver/Warehouse job for 15 years. Saw writing on wall. Started out as a good company with pay and benefits. Owner decided to go to Health Savings Account. A lot of changes since. Took out my retirement when I started School job. School job was eliminated. 3 1/2 years later. Tried a trade job. Big mistake. Now unemployed.

Things have changed and some times you have to make changes to in order to better yourself to make better money and have better benfits and retirement plan. You are not to old to learn new things you can do it just believe in yourself and have faith that you can do it good luck.
