Went to my local (IN) unemployment office. Was asked what type of work I was interested in, when I responded that I was hoping to find a remote job, they basically said they didn't suggest I go that route and pretty much ignored that fact from then on. I have extensive accounts receivable experience as well as other bookkeeping and office experience. I was with the same company for 25 years. Are they correct in telling me to forget remote work?
