SAHM

I've been out of work for 6 years staying at home with my 3 young kids. Unfortunately, we need the extra income so I'm looking for a part-time evening job. Should I send in my old resume and leave my last year of employment as is, or do I write some sort of explanation?

Hi Maianna, You can update your resume with any transferrable skills you learned during your last job then use a cover letter to briefly explain that you've been a stay at home mom.
