i had 10 years experience in the medical engineering when i suffered a couple of opical strokes and had to take long term disability per doctors orders. has taken 13 years to be well enough to want to return to the job market. i felt it wise to start back slow so i applied for a part time job and recieved and interview. even though i am vastly over qualified for the job i was past over. i think i am possibly being past over because of my employment gap.,maybe age too. how do i get around this. i am open to suggestions.
