I sorted donations
Goodwill is such a fun and interesting place to work. You meet people from ALL walks of life. My job was to sort through the donations which was exciting and other times pretty chaotic. We took that chaos and organized it, however! You never knew what was going to show up next. I saw a ton of things and I always wondered who they belonged to. Sort of like going to an antique shop. As they say, one man/woman's trash is another man/woman's treasure. Always make the BEST of every situation!
Hi Lisa, working or volunteering for a charitable organization can be very rewarding as you posted, it is just that though whether volunteering or working for pay, it is work. Best wishes.
I Worked at Goodwill in 2013 at Florida. I got paid the minimum wage of the state($7.67/hr). Now the ADC process Ass. gets $8.60 in Florida(Tampa). My husband works there.

I know on one occasion a lady bought a bowling ball bag and there was 2k in cash hidden inside!
