I can feel ya on that cause back in the early spring I applied to Kroger's and I asked how long it would take to get my background checked she said depending on a lot of things, sometimes 2 days, two weeks or longer, well here it is 8 months later and STILL haven't heard anything. i do go to that Kroger's a lot and they know my face so you would think that they could at least say one way or the other why I was rejected.I may have to go to another location,but I really shouldn't have to do that cause however you are applying for should get back to you in a reasonable amount of time

My background check took less than two days and I have lived in Wyoming, Colorado, Idaho, New Mexico, California, Nebraska, and Utah. So what took yours so long?

Don....all of the BG ck is outsourced...out of HR hands entirely...you might want to reconsider...took me several weeks to get drivers approved

There are allot of moving parts that go on with these background checks; especially if they require multi-states. Some states agencies have limited resources and take a little longer. Hang in there.. you should get a response soon.
