I love welding very much and I can’t wait to get back to work,could you let me know how to get work?

open the construction Blue Book and look up welding companies in your area and simply call them and ask if they are hiring. If they are not ask them if they know of any other companies that are , good luck.

If you would like to do your own job search follow these steps:

3. Add in your location by filling in your City and State OR zip code. Then click the magnifying glass to search.

Any welding position you apply for you will take a weld test for whatever kind of work the shop does. Do you your homework on the company to see what skills are expected and practice if you can before hand. Most places will have PPE for you to use during your test, but it would be a good idea to bring your own, just in case.
