EXAMPLE OF HOW NOT TO WRITE A POST
Knowledge I have been in the nursing profession for over thirty years. I went out of work on a medical leave, job requested that l return, retire or resign. I was devastated, when all the benefits were exhausted l applied for SSI and my pension, almost two years since being employed, l have no income and no insurance.
The post above is an example of how not to write a post. In the first place, it doesn't ring true. The woman claims to be a nurse ("I have been in the nursing profession") and to have thirty years of employment. If that were true, the rest of her post would be false--nurses who work that long are extremely well-paid and have seniority at their hospitals. In the second place, nursing benefits are spectacular (at least in Minnesota, where I live) and pension and insurance are provided. In the third place, although Social Security disability takes a long time to get, if you are disabled to the point of being unable to work, you WILL received disability if you apply for it. Finally, the nurse's union is extremely powerful and should be able to protect a nurse with that length of employment. Jobcasers are not being told the entire story, and it's therefore impossible to offer this woman any serious, helpful feedback.
Great info Max. I'll share this with Joanne. Thanks
