Caregiver

I do caregiving for my fiance, whom is in a wheelchair. It's hard work, and I'm not sure how much longer I'll be able to do it. I have physical disabilities, which are getting worse. I used to be a nursing home charge nurse, and had to give that up in 2000, to take care of my mother. She passed in 2005. I'm 58, and my body is giving out on me. So, I'm going to start my own business soon, where I'll be working from home on the computer, so I can still take care of him.

Being able to do things for other is excellent if you choose to do that. Hope your Finance is one who appreciates what you do for him. Many individuals who help assisting with everyday life go unappreciated.

Hi Pauline, Thanks for sharing your story! It's very altruistic of you to care for your fiance even when you have disabilities of your own. Do you have any friends or family members that can help you out from time to time? Also it's awesome that you are taking initiative and starting your own business. What type of business are you planning on it being? Good luck with it!
