So I interviewed for a personal banker position (won't name the institution). Branch manager said he was really impressed with me during the interview. Asked me to come in for a 2nd time (this time being more informal). He made it sound like that he was going to offer the position to me. So I get there and he says that his manager wants to talk to me...he mentioned that I am his pick and that he talked up a storm to his manager. All in the meantime, I had questions about when to start, salary, training, etc. So a few days go by and I talk to his manager...she was ultra serious and did not have any charisma when she asked me questions...very monotone. The overall tone of the interview did not feel too good..she said a recruiter will contact me in a few days. So before, I thought i had this job..but now, I'm not so sure...the branch manager was already jumping to conclusions that I was going to be the newest member! Darn it!
