When asking for a higher salary at Walgreens or any job, gather information on industry standards, your qualifications, and contributions to the company. Schedule a meeting with your manager to discuss your request professionally and provide examples of your value to the company. Be prepared to negotiate and consider other job opportunities as leverage. Utilize resources like Jobcase, Glassdoor, or Indeed to research typical salaries for your position.

I agree with understanding the market place your role sits in. I would add that the quickest way to get a raise is to take on more responsibility. It might sound like "corporate speak" but I found it to be true over my 40 years with Walgreens.
