55, out of work now for over a year. Several interviews always come in 2nd. I last worked for a convention center but also have experience in non-profit and have tried to get back into it. Would also consider Health Care or retirement communities, but they won't talk to me without experience...Looking for suggestions.
Laurie, as Finance Director your level of experience can take you anywhere, medical field, defence department, and even big companies, are always looking for people with a level who would also qualify as President, CEO, Manager, maybe you should go back to school and pickup a particular class, check AMA management magazine for ideas. and would continue eating healthy, exercise regularly, and keep focused, I hope this helps

Next time you have an interview with the companies you don't have a lot of experience in the company just say how can I have any experience if no one will give it to me?
