My mom did the same thing. She just jumped right into it! Just do it! Yet, comprehend management has changed just as the coworkers you will encounter! Housekeeper. Com, pet sitter. Com, rover.com and wag.com. what about work from home?

Get ready for a load of seemingly irrelevant and annoying questions. Practice with someone on fielding those prying questions that you will receive. If you keep your cool and have a rational response that will likely satisfy those skeptical interviewers. Try something like 'I really loved my work and miss interacting with stakeholders.' 'I need to get back into the workforce and utilize my skillset.' If you have been out a long time you may have to do some tune-up training for specific skills, otherwise, just get going and don't stop until you are back in the workforce again. God bles.

I guess I would have to know the reason why you are returning to the workforce to help you. Are you seeking for more "purpose" in your life? Do you need the income in any way? Do you simply need somewhere to go every day? After figuring out why you want to work again, You should figure out what type of employment you wanted. Is it something similar to what you did before, something totally new or somewhere in between. How much time do you want to devote to your new job, part time or full. After discerning these questions, you should tell everyone you know that you looking for employment. Other people are the best resources. I would also visit either a free career center, every state has them I believe, or even a temp agency. Also don't overlook online job services like Indeed.com. When you figure out what you want, that should help dictate how much of a resume you need or the types of jobs you will apply. It would help to watch videos on Youtube that feature job interviewing techniques for the fields that you are interested in. Good Luck!

Sorry none I've worked since leaving school semi retired when I was 55 and retired last August. Just passed my 60th birthday, and everyone I have spoken to say once you retire don't go back to work

Don't let yourself get overwhelmed. Work your way up to 40 hours slowly.

Update your resume and develop lots of patience, this is not the work search of yesteryears. Good luck. You may want to consider contacting Temp to Permanent Agency.
